Growing up, my family loved going out to dinner at the Golden Corral’s all you can eat buffet. There was a Golden Corral restaurant, in fact, less than a mile from our house. Our favorite server was name Cindy. We always asked to sit in her section.
Anyway, it’s for all these reasons that I was so honored to have the chance to give a motivational keynote speech this week at Golden Corral’s annual conference of about 1,000 people. Some of the nicest people own Golden Corral franchises and it was an honor to be a part of the event.
I spoke on the third day of the conference. Ashley and I arrived on day one so that I could watch all general sessions before mine. Ashley and I attended their awards banquet the night before my speech.
