Thrilled to get the chance to perform again at the Grand Ole Opry. What an honor to return to that iconic wooden circle, bringing some of my jokes and stories to one of the most famous stages in the world.

My 2-year-old was backstage — his first time watching me do standup. He didn’t like it. Everyone’s a critic.

I got to share the stage with a phenomenal roster of artists, including:

  • Kasey Tyndall, who brought her signature high-energy country-rock sound to the audience.

  • Eric Paslay, the platinum-selling artist known for his soulful songwriting. I also happen to be emceeing an event next week that he’ll be playing at too!

  • Steven Curtis Chapman, a true legend in the industry. My first CD was one of his. Got to meet him. As nice as you’d hope he’d be.

I shared my classic story about the box of orphaned dryer socks from my mother-in-law, Terry. Extra fun because she was backstage, too!
